Meet Julia Lo, Customer Success Manager based in New York. Julia has been at Ogury for over 3 years. During this time, Julia has progressed from starting her Ogury career as an intern to now managing some of Ogury’s largest accounts.

What led you to become a Client Success Manager at Ogury?
I started out interviewing with Jimmy to be the office intern, after a pretty quick conversation Jimmy thought I would be a much better fit on the sales team and passed my resume to Evan. Little college me interviewed with Evan, we talked about french fries. I started as a Sales Support Intern, and now over 3 years later….here I am!
Describe your role at Ogury and your team’s mission?
My role is a mashup of pre-sales and post-sales, which allows for more account ownership. This means custom strategies catering to the client’s needs, seamless activation/campaign management, insightful end of campaign reports, but most importantly coming full circle and applying past learnings to future opportunities. Our mission is to provide white-glove service to all clients and establish ourselves as a long-term strategic partner who wants to make a difference for not only each campaign but the overall brand objectives.
What excites you most about your role?
Growing relationships and endless possibilities. I love connecting with clients in my own way, whether that’s through email, calls, memes, or sending them gifs that I’ve made of myself. I love the creativity that comes with the CSM account ownership, we learn the ins and outs of each business and can truly become such a powerful resource for the agency and brand. This role is so technical but also client-facing, allowing you to make a difference in their business and day-to-day life. Who doesn’t love someone who is a great partner to work with but also someone you enjoy talking to?
What is unique about Ogury compared to other companies you’ve worked for?
N/A unless you want me to compare Ogury to a Sushi restaurant or optometrist office. 🙂 While I have nothing to compare Ogury to, I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my career. I (unknowingly) threw myself into a fast-paced startup environment, which has helped me learn so much within a short period of time but also meet people that I hope to stay in contact with for the rest of my life.
What Ogury Value do you embody most and why?
Autonomous Thinking, I do what I want. But if that’s not enough… I think throughout my journey here I’ve really learned to embrace my own instincts/opinions. From always building my own creative templates, designing custom strategies, to even telling clients that I don’t agree with their strategies. While it may not be for everyone, most clients appreciate my individuality (or…I’d at least like to think so and that’s what I keep telling myself). In such a technology-driven environment, we often forget about the human element.
