Jesper Laumand is appointed Managing Director, Nordics to bring the company’s personified advertising technology to the region

Ogury announced it is strengthening its business in EMEA with a new Nordics office, encompassing Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The company’s local activities will be led by Jesper Laumand, Managing Director, Nordics based in Denmark.

Since its launch in 2014, Ogury has established itself as the worldwide leader in personified advertising. In the current ecosystem, Ogury’s cookieless and IDless Personified Advertising Engine will enable North European industry players to achieve outstanding performance whilst respecting user privacy by engaging audiences at scale on the websites and apps they consume the most, instead of targeting a select few individuals with ultra-personalised messaging. Ogury’s technology is unprecedented in the region, and should make it the go-to advertising partner for brands, agencies and publishers alike.

Jesper Laumand will be at the helm of this expansion, leading Ogury’s business operations and development in the region from the Copenhagen office. He will report directly to Adam Rubach, VP New Markets at Ogury. In his role, Laumand will spearhead the launch of Ogury’s unique technology in the Nordics market, enabling advertisers to combine market-leading advertising performance and user privacy.

With 15 years of experience in Sales and Business Development, Laumand entered the digital ecosystem in 2012 by joining online service provider AOL, where he climbed the ladder to become Head of all Sales & Client services, Nordics. In 2017, he was promoted Managing Director Nordics and Netherlands at media brand Oath, following Verizon’s merger of AOL and Yahoo, where he launched Yahoo’s global brand offering Amplify360, overseeing all global operations and strategy, and generating strong revenue growth.

Ogury’s decision to open an office in the Nordics was motivated by the tremendous potential of the region, where programmatic ad spend reached roughly $5.9 billion in 2021, with Sweden in the lead. This market will be going from strength to strength, with digital advertising projected to reach $8.21 billion in 2022.
