We’re pleased to announce that Ogury’s Thumbnail Ad has won the Bronze award in the video category of the Mobile Creativity Awards. The awards, organized by the Mobile Marketing Association in France, recognize creativity, innovation and efficiency in mobile ad formats.
BNP Paribas, a global financial services firm in France, partnered with Ogury to promote its “My Business Assistant” campaign to micro and small business owners. The campaign, run with Havas Media France, leveraged Ogury’s Thumbnail Ad — the world’s first non-fullscreen ephemeral video format built specifically for mobile.
Inspired by the picture in picture format, Thumbnail Ad ad is non-intrusive and plays while users continue to navigate content. Mobile users can drag, expand and skip the ad. This interactivity attracts attention and delivers video performance previously only available via full-screen interstitial.
The Thumbnail Ad campaign with BNP Paribas delivered exceptional results, including a high Viewable Video Completion Rate (V2CR), which is calculated by multiplying VCR with viewability.
