The White Nights Conference is a leading B2B event for the game industry in Europe. It gathers key companies from European countries, Russia & CIS, Asia, and the US – over 4,500 attendees per year. The main reason to attend the White Nights events – according to the visitors’ feedback – is an opportunity to meet decision-makers face-to-face. That’s exactly what our Publisher team did at White Nights Berlin earlier this year. Ogury had one of the largest booths at the event, which stood out as the first booth that showcased our new branding since the launch in early February.
Industry-leading companies like King, Obsidian, Supercell, Rovio, Bandai Namco, Big Fish, Wargaming, Playrix, Pixonic, Facebook, Google and many others attended this popular event. The agenda included two days of exhibition, atmospheric networking parties and a conference where industry leaders discussed the development of the games industry.
Ogury also participated in the thought leadership program. Romain Escaich, Head of Publisher Development EMEA, took part in the ‘How to Monetize Games in 2019: Challenges and Opportunities’ panel. Joined on stage by 3 game developers, MoPub, and Appodeal, Romain discussed the advantages/disadvantages of ad monetization, what works best in which cases, how should one integrate it etc.
