New data protection regulations, such as the GDRP, have tested the management of many technology companies regarding information, especially in the AdTech sector: at the end of 2018 Forrester predicted a 75% decrease of funding in AdTech companies, considering that if companies do not comply with the GDPR, they could hardly comply with stricter laws.
