Step 1: Locate your Identifiers

As outlined in the Ogury Advertising Privacy Policy (and more particularly the section Our commitments regarding data we use), we do not collect any information that directly identifies you, such as your name or email address. Instead, we use technical identifiers that allow us to single out a particular device or browser. This means that we cannot identify the User Data we hold about you exercising your rights without these technical identifiers. Therefore, to process your request, you will need to locate and provide us with these identifiers. Rest assured, this information will be used solely to facilitate your data protection rights.

How to locate your Identifiers:

  • On mobile applications
    • On Android devices, please follow the instructions from your mobile device manufacturer on how to locate your Identifier (referred to as Advertising ID) available here.
    • On iOS devices, a third-party tool is required to locate your Identifier (referred to as IDFA). These are available on the App Store.
  • On Internet browsers
    • Your identifier will be displayed to you by clicking here
    • If your Identifier is not displayed, it’s due to your Internet browser blocking third-party cookies. This prevents us from using Identifiers. In such cases, we may still deliver ads to you, but your User Data will be automatically anonymized after the ad is served. As a result, we no longer process any of your User Data and cannot fulfil your privacy rights requests.

Each Internet browser and device you use will have its own unique identifier. Therefore, if you use multiple Internet browsers (e.g., Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox) or devices (e.g., a laptop and a smartphone), you will need to repeat this process for each browser and device you use.

Step 2: Confirm your identity 

To prevent identity theft and misuse of your data, we are responsible for ensuring that you are the rightful owner of the data that will be impacted by the exercise of your privacy rights

Step 3: Submit your request

Submit your request by emailing us at dpo@ogury.co.

Your request must contain the following information:

  • the right(s) you exercise;
  • your Identifier(s);
  • a sworn statement, duly signed, confirming that you are the owner of the device used to obtain your Identifier(s) and the email address through which you submitted your request;
  • a screenshot of a screen that displays each of your Identifier(s).

Provided that you submitted your request with all the required information, we will process your request without undue delay. Please note that if we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may request additional information to verify it, such as a copy of your ID card.
