As digital media consumption increases, so does digital ad spend. Telecom advertising spend globally will rise from $17.8 billion in 2020 to $18.7 billion in 2021, and predictions are showing a pre-pandemic level of $19.5 billion in 2022.

Full speed ahead for the automotive industry

In 2020, the automotive industry encountered both severe highs and lows. The pandemic-induced downturn in Q2 2020 saw sales plummet to a low not seen since the Great Recession.

Toward the later half of the year, sales swiftly rebounded to an extent that many didn’t expect. The highs and lows of the past year saw drastic changes in consumer behavior. With the pandemic extending into 2021, these shifts continued evolving, with new trends emerging.
